These medications are easily available in any drug store and are very helpful in reducing the pain caused due to hemorrhoids. Any product that contains hydrocortisone and witch hazel should be applied on the affected area. These are available in the form of ointment, creams, suppositories, or pads. If the pain is excess internal medicine that contains acetaminophen (Tylenol) can be taken to relieve from pain. Do not take aspirin or ibuprofen, however, as these will make the bleeding worse.
